Online Registration and Scheduling

After completing a North Carolina state-approved training course, follow the steps below to create an account within the Credentia Platform system.

Steps to Create an Account:

  1. Navigate to http://www.credentia.com/test-takers/ncma/
  2. Click Login.
  3. Click Sign-Up to create a new account.
  4. Enter the required personal details.
  5. Check the box to agree to the Terms and Data Policy.
  6. Click Sign Up to complete the account creation.

Registration Process

Complete the online application within the Credentia Platform.

  • If needed, ask someone from your training program or facility employer for assistance in completing the application.
  • Alternatively, you can contact Credentia at 888-204-6249 for help.

Payment:
Pay the required examination fees using one of the following payment methods:

  • Credit card or pre-paid credit card (American Express, MasterCard, Visa)
  • ACH/electronic check
  • Electronic voucher
    (Fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.)

Examination Scheduling

  • Once your online application is approved, you will be able to schedule your examination within the Credentia Platform.
  • After scheduling, you will receive a confirmation notice and receipt of payment via email.
  • You can schedule the examination as early as one (1) day following registration, depending on availability.

Accommodations

Credentia complies with the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to provide accommodations for candidates with documented disabilities. The purpose of accommodations is to ensure full access to the test, but they are not a guarantee of improved performance or test completion.

Types of Test Accommodations May Include:

  • A separate testing room.
  • Extra testing time.
  • A Reader or Recorder for individuals with mobility, hearing, or vision impairments who cannot read or write on their own.

Requesting Accommodations:

Test accommodations are considered on a case-by-case basis and are individualized. To request accommodations, candidates must provide appropriate documentation of their condition and how it affects their ability to take the test under standard conditions. This documentation may include:

  • Supporting documentation from the professional who diagnosed the condition, including the professional’s credentials.
  • A description of past accommodations the candidate has received.
